This book was perfect for bringing along on a trip when I had to school work. It is small enough to put in the carry-on or in the suitcase. It is very light. It has the information you need for writing in APA style in that little book.

The information in this book is good. It is precise and easy to follow. My one disappointment was that the pages in the book had been cut at an angle. Fortunately none of the information was cut off. As this was a graduation gift there was no time to send it back for a new copy. My nephew, who was the recipient, got a chuckle out of the irony that something that is suppose to be helping you write precisely could be done in such a sloppy manner.

The strength of this book is that it is very practical and and convenient in that you don't have to lug around the APA manual. However, as a doctoral student, I need "dead-on" accuracy. I've detected one problem so far-the header is incorrect on the abstract page.

For busy students, this is everything you need to know condensed in a pocket manual, especially if you're a slow reader. (I still had to get the official full version.)
